Artemis Fowl

Artemis Fowl is the story of a twelve year old genius named Artemis who makes a brilliant discovery when he finds out fairies exist. Artemis then comes up with a plan to capture a fairy and hold the secret of their existence for ransom so he can replenish his families dwindling fortune. Artemis with the help of his very masculine and large butler named Butler, he proceeds to capture the only girl fairy in the LEPrecon unit. WHich is there equivalent to the FBI. The Faires send in legions of troops to try and recapture their comrade while Artemis uses the captured fairies technology to beat them back. In the end Artemis gets their gold but at a high moral price when his butler almost dies.

1. If you were Artemis would you capture the fairy just so you could be a Billionaire again?

2. Do you think this was right of him?

1) No, I would not, because money is not as important as people. Kidnapping the fairy was basically the same as kidnapping a person.
2) No, it was not. Artemis eventually realized this though, which shoes that he is not a bad person.

1. No I would not try to capture the fairy. I agree with Hannah, it is just like kidnapping a person.

2. I do not think it was right of Artemis to do that. There is other ways to make money.

1. It doesn't seem that Artemis was really living without money, but he just wanted to be a billionaire. I agree with Hannah, it is the same as kidnapping a person. Is money truly worth sacrificing someones life or ruining their life?

1. I agree with Hannah, there is not a set price on life. Even if he would become a billionaire, is that money really worth the death of his friend?
2. I think that this was very selfish of him and he should not be so conserned about money when someone could die.

1) No, I wouldn't kidnap a fairy for money. I would probably try to find a moral way to make some before even thinking about kidnapping.

1.No, kidnapping a fairy would be a lot of work just for money.
2.I think that this was selfish of him and that money should not be so important to him.

1.) Nahh, that'd be wrong. Plus my conscience wouldn't let me get away with it...

2.) No, I don't think it was right...

1. No I would not capture them just so I could be a billionaire because it is very wrong and I wouldn't feel right doing it.
2. I do not think it was right of him to take advantage of them like that. He captured them just so he could get their money and be rich again.

I agree with Leah. Life is more important than money.

I wouldnt capture him because there is no reason to take a friends life just for your benifit.

I dont think that was right of him to use his friend for an easy path to becoming a billionaire, he should earn the money that he wants on his own.

1. I would not capture the fairy, because capturing anyone is wrong.
2. No, it was not right of him. He should have tried to become a billionaire the right way, by actually working.
