I like Abby's point that this young girl has a lot of inner strength with dealing with so many heartbreaking tragedies at such a young age, and also having a tremendous amount of inner strength. I have to agree with Heather B. on the contrast of Liesel's survival. It would be nice if she lived on since she has been so much but the Nazi's as we know had no compassion for the Jews. However, it is left up to the author in the end. But this is a realistic point of view from what we know happened in history.Anna W. 1-2https://www.blogger.com/profile/03996106222747425408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3912002613105678034.post-29004685223964002522011-01-15T22:03:08.033-05:002011-01-15T22:03:08.033-05:00i agree with Analee i think her life sucksi agree with Analee i think her life sucksGarret Edward Patrick Graehling 1/2https://www.blogger.com/profile/09525614606161243764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3912002613105678034.post-76542053034625286012011-01-09T15:11:10.610-05:002011-01-09T15:11:10.610-05:001.) It is hopeful to think that Leisel will survive. However, it is more realistic that she will not. If I was taken in under good care like Leisel was then slowly I would get through it.

2. I think Leisel will stay alive because she went through so much and became strong through the book that she will live and she'll teach children to read or help people when she grows up.Sevgim A.1-2https://www.blogger.com/profile/01933190935547833650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3912002613105678034.post-69943234714147633242011-01-07T18:43:41.486-05:002011-01-07T18:43:41.486-05:002. She seems to have a very deep inner strength, as she has gotten through all of the trials and tradgedies in the book already. Also, it seems to be very important in the book for Leisell to write, so I think she will survive to do this.Abby M. 1-2https://www.blogger.com/profile/14871056864034862267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3912002613105678034.post-64425231976398881542011-01-06T16:42:16.436-05:002011-01-06T16:42:16.436-05:001) I would probably become secluded and unable to ...1) I would probably become secluded and unable to handle it.
2) My guess is she didn't live because the Nazis didn't like people speaking out against them and generally thinking.Millie W. 7/8https://www.blogger.com/profile/10217373060820222179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3912002613105678034.post-71419990121834996142011-01-06T09:35:07.575-05:002011-01-06T09:35:07.575-05:001.
